Specializing in warm nostalgic atmospheres and melancholy experimentation, The Hill Station is an indie/electronic duo made up of Ronnie Verton and Rutger Brouwer. Using a mixture of organic instruments and analog synthesizers, they create a sound that draws from the subtle textural shifts of synthwave and minimal electronic while retaining a welcoming pop sensibility.

The Hill Station’s sound is a result of their many years spent performing and absorbing disparate styles of music. Experienced in everything from minimal music to 90’s alt-rock, the pair bonded over a mutual love of experimentation and a desire to embrace electronic styles.

The Hill Station have made their official debut in May 2020, with the release of their first EP In Dreams. In September 2021 they released their second EP Seven Mornings.
